Our new member Sue McCarthy will be leading her excellent walk Art & Industry in East London on 9 September at starting at 1.00 p.m. at Pudding Mill Lane DLR station. It's a fascinating insight into the lower reaches of the Lee Valley with tales of the area's past from when it was occupied by monks to when it was literally an industrial powerhouse, with some interesting, witty pieces of modern sculpture thrown in.
