With fine old and modern architecture alongside surviving industry, this Guided Walk explores the collision of history and present along the Thames riverside from the O2 'Dome' to the Naval College at Greenwich. After learning the meaning of the Dome's dimensions and about its chequered past, we head off to see Morden Wharf, the high spec modern apartments next to the Georgian Cutty Sark pub at Ballast Quay, beaches and wildlife, the Trinity Hospital nestled against the huge Greenwich Power Station and the traditional pubs of Crane Street before finishing at Wren's magnificent Naval College.
