In this 75-minute virtual walk via Zoom with Oonagh, retrace the steps of the most famous radical women associated with Bow, starting with the Bryant and May match women.  Sylvia Pankhurst established the Suffragette East London Federation here, campaigning not only for the right of women to vote, but also to establish their social and economic freedom. Leading suffragette, Minnie Lansbury, lived and died here, leading a heroic fight for justice for local residents. This online event is offered in collaboration with Spitalfields Music which has been putting music at the heart of East London for over 40 years and bringing diverse communities together.
