This Guided Walk with Sue Doe, one of a series associated with the recently-published book Women from Hackney’s History which Sue contributed to, features women – some you’ll find in the book, some discovered later - whose lives were connected with Dalston. They include a racing driver, a club owner, suffragettes, politicians, music hall stars and murderers, plus the woman who gave us the Rio Cinema and one who created a famous black horse.
