Daniella King will take us outside the walls of Old London on this Guided Walk to hear what life was like “on the other side.” As we move forward through time, we will visit one of the oldest army’s in the world, hear tales about John Wesley and the beginnings of Methodism, and share in the story of Elizabethan theatre. We will discover the stories of lunatic asylums and the plague pits of London, as well as the ‘outcast cemetery’ where we find the final resting places of Defoe and Blake.  In addition, we’ll visit the birthplace of Keats, the home of The Naked Chef, and hear the story of the first balloon flight – and more.  Finally, we come straight up to date with Britain’s answer to California’s Silicon Valley: Silicon Roundabout!
