"An excellent walk. The three leaders had very good presentational skills and were extremely knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the Isle of Dogs. We learnt a great deal of this part of London which, although it's only over the water from where we live, was pretty much unknown to us. Looking forward to any other walks which they might conduct.”

"I much enjoyed the walk yesterday and was in awe of the depth of research you had gone to and the poignant choice of stops you selected."

"Excellent insight into the lesser reaches of Canary Wharf."

I knew nothing about Walthamstow apart from the William Morris gallery. Joanna’s tour was informative and fun - a bit of history, anecdote, and lots of information about what’s happening in Walthamstow now. Very friendly and relaxed.

"Excellent walk … presented with professional knowledge and measured passion. Highly recommended."

Such an interesting walk. I was born and bred in Walthamstow, but Joanna still showed me things that I didn't know about - she showed a passion for the area and this was catching!

An absolutely fascinating walk with Sean Patterson on Deptford: The Charles Booth Poverty Maps. Sean is very knowledgeable and really brings the history to life, even when it's freezing cold and snowing!

Had an excellent time walking around Deptford with Sean, on the The Charles Booth Poverty Maps tour. Sean is super knowledgeable and really friendly, he brings all of the history of the area to life, the pub stop was great too!. A brilliant way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Highly Recommended!

A superbly-led walking tour of the fabulous Thamesmead estate in South-East London …. I'd been looking for an excuse to visit Thamesmead and wasn't disappointed.

This walk is a revelation, if all you knew of the Isle of Dogs is Canary Wharf. Along the river with wonderful views then up into Millwall Basin, it tells about shipping history and dock life. A great walk.

A fantastic tour guide: friendly, knowledgeable and willing to accommodate (e.g. helping us stay out of the sun!) I would highly recommend

"Brilliant 2 hour tour taking on the history of Poplar and its architecture. Really insightful and interesting. Would definitely recommend and go on another one. Thank you!"

"I just wanted to thank you for a delightful couple of hours yesterday. Both my mother & I thoroughly enjoyed it & found it highly informative. Also many thanks for helping push the wheelchair."

"An excellent walking tour of the architecture of Poplar - well planned, well-paced, highly informed and knowledgeable. Absolutely fascinating for anyone interested in architecture or twentieth-century history. Book it now!"

An excellent walk with Andrew today - lots of insightful information about the fascinating river and docks. Highly recommended.

Andrew's walk was fantastic. He clearly knows his stuff, engaged with us and was very knowledgeable when it came to questions. Would easily go on another.

I really enjoyed the tour - it was fascinating to explore a part of London I would never usually visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed the walk- thought it was utterly fascinating- and so varied! And cheerful.

Great to discover places I had never seen before - and me a 'born and bred islander'! Many thanks for an interesting and insightful tour. Hope to join you again on future walks.

The tour was superb. Well paced with a fabulous range of sites related to a diversity of historical periods.

Thank you for the lovely Sunday morning guided tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Although living in Limehouse for the last 16 years, you highlighted so many things I didn’t know.
